Happy New Year 2017 Room 25

Tena Koutou Katoa

Hope everyone is now greeting the new year with much enthusiasm and joy. I greet all parents old and new with a big KIA ORA and welcome to Room 25. Nau mai Haere mai

Na Carolyn Taka

Well we are off to a great start for 2017. There will be a student teacher Ms Pati Wijohn from Auckland University joining us for 7 weeks.

Here's a little bit about what I have been up to with my whanau during my break:

  • visited my brother and sister in Australia/Emerald QLD
  • whanau Christmas at Orere Point, lots to eat and drink
  • fishing and diving, kinas, mussels, fish and grayish
  • attended a tangi for a fishing friend at Kaharoa Marae-Aramiro
  • lots of barbecues
  • a week in Cambridge supporting mokopuna in waka ama sport

Remember School begins on the 31st January so look forward to seeing you and hearing about your adventures.

Nga mihi
Carolyn Taka
